Cardinals training camp: WR Marvin Harrison Jr. misses second straight practice

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. sat out Thursday’s practice at training camp with knee soreness. Prior to Thursday’s practice, head coach Jonathan Gannon said that he was considered day-to-day.

On Friday, when the team practiced in pads, Harrison again sat out. He was absent until he came out about halfway through to watch, wrote AZCardinals.com’s Darren Urban.

The Cardinals have been practicing in three-day cycles. They will have an off-day on Sunday, so it is possible that he will sit out again on Saturday for the Red & White practice, which would be a bummer for fans, although it is important to make sure he is healthy.

With the first preseason game coming next Saturday, if the goal is for him to play in it, it would make sense to hold him out until Monday.
