Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang officially landed this Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Marignane Airport. The Gabonese striker was greeted by a jubilant crowd of Marseille supporters.

The former Al-Qadisiyah forward is expected to sign with Olympique de Marseille in the coming hours. Aubameyang’s first words upon his return to OM
Images shared on social media show Aubameyang beaming with an OM scarf, greeting fans and surrounded by club staff, in an atmosphere worthy of the Velodrome’s biggest nights. The 36-year-old striker wasted no time before delivering his first words and launching into “Aux armes!”, the OM supporters’ most iconic chant.
“I’m emotional, family, to see you all again. This year, we’re going to smash it. I can’t wait to be back at the Orange VĂ©lodrome!” declared Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
