Panthers work out 3 wide receivers on Monday

The Carolina Panthers may have a pretty deep wideout room, but that did not stop them from giving a few other pass catchers a look this week.

Per the transaction wire, the Panthers worked out three receivers on Monday—Braylon Sanders, Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint and Ja’seem Reed.

Sanders, who attended Ole Miss from 2017 to 2021, cracked into the NFL as an undrafted free agent. He’s appeared in three regular-season games, all coming with the Miami Dolphins in 2022.

Rosemy-Jacksaint was a two-time national champion at the University of Georgia, where he amassed 1,028 receiving yards and seven touchdowns between 2020 and 2023. After going undrafted in 2024, the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder signed with the Washington Commanders, then proceeded to pick up stops with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Canadian Football League’s Edmonton Elks.

Reed also entered the league as an undrafted free agent. The University of San Diego standout, who reeled in 77 passes for 1,052 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2024, spent the spring with the Cleveland Browns before being waived in June.
