Very rarely was Howie Roseman criticized more than he was when he expended a second-round selection to acquire Jalen Hurts. We understood why. The Philadelphia Eagles had just given Carson Wentz a massive extension. Oh… And, the quarterback factory comment didn’t help.
Fast forward to the present, and Jalen Hurts couldn’t be any hotter. He has helped lead the Eagles to two Super Bowls, and he was named the game’s MVP during the most recent. Acclaim has come as a result. He has received endorsement deals from Nike’s Jordan Brand, Hulu, and Pepsi. He was also the face of an Olympic flag football commercial.
His most recent endorsement puts him in rare air, as he has achieved something no other NFL star has ever done. Sprite has launched a new campaign. Guess who the face of that campaign is.

Congratulations to Hurts as he continues to rewrite history. Sprite couldn’t have selected a better NFL star to break new ground. Philadelphia couldn’t have chosen a better leader to be the face of this franchise.
