Training Camps around the NFL have begun to open and the Cowboys were no different taking to the practice fields in Oxnard to prepare for the 2025 season. Cowboys departed for California on July 20 and keeping up with all-things Dallas can be a daunting task. A quick scroll down Cowboys Twitter can get even the most casual fans up to date after the first week of practice.

First Day of Practice:

Dallas opened camp with an introductory press conference where Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spoke about player contracts and the expectations that come with large sums of salary. The players themselves opened camp with just helmets to help ease them in during the acclimation period.

Day Two of Practice:

On the second day of camp, Dallas once again rolled with just helmets but showed the world how electric the start of practice under first-year head coach Brian Schottenheimer has become. As the day went on, practice fights matched the intensity at the start of practice.

Day Three of Practice

Dallas added shoulder pads to their uniforms as the Cowboys slowly callus their bodies in preparation for the rigors of the NFL. Practicing in “Shells” gave everyone an opportunity to see the big boys in action, in a limited capacity.

Cowboys Back Together Weekend :: Opening Ceremony

Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones spoke to fans during the teams opening ceremony which was also the first day of Dallas wearing full pads. The Cowboys first few days of practice were met with sparse crowds but the weekend proved Cowboys Nation travels well.
