It’s Hall of Fame weekend in Cooperstown, New York, and the new baseball inductees are on their way to town.

Apparently, it’s not always the most straightforward trip.

Yankees legend C.C. Sabathia, about to be inducted this weekend as a Hall of Famer, had some car troubles on the way.

He shared a post on X about it Thursday evening:

Apparently the Sabathia family found a helping hand or two, because he eventually shared this follow-up post:

Sabathia, who also starred for Cleveland and Milwaukee in his time in MLB, is sure to attract a big fanbase to Cooperstown as a popular Yankees pitcher.

That’ll likely be dwarfed by Japanese superstar Ichiro Suzuki’s fanbase, of course.

It should be a special weekend in Cooperstown. Hopefully everyone’s cars work the rest of the way.
