Big Ten football media days have officially kicked off, and Ryan Day’s turn at the podium occurred late on Tuesday for Day 1. Day is entering his seventh year on the job in Columbus, so taking to the podium in the dog and pony show that is media days is nothing new for him. He is calm, cool, and calculated with his opening remarks and answers to questions that were lobbed at him.

The annual Big Ten event that marks the beginning of the conference gearing up for the season is actually taking place in Las Vegas this year, and there is sure to be plenty of sound bites, moments, and observations from the three-day event.
