NFL coaches, executives name Jets' Garrett Wilson among top-10 receivers in NFL

It’s been an outstanding, life-changing week for New York Jetswide receiver Garrett Wilson.

The No. 10 overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Jets signed Wilson to a four-year, $130 million extension. The former Ohio State wideout has plenty of reason to celebrate.

ESPN has been releasing their top-10 positional rankings daily ahead of training camp. The wide receivers list was published earlier this week. Wilson made the cut, clocking in at No. 10 overall.

He’s one of the best separators in the league,” an AFC executive said.

Wilson recorded 101 receptions for 1,104 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024. Despite catching passes from nearly a dozen quarterbacks in three seasons, Wilson has been the definition of consistency in East Rutherford, posting three consecutive 1,000-yard campaigns.

He has produced in suboptimal circumstances,” an NFL general manager said. “He would only grow in stature in another system more friendly to his skill set.”
