'Horrible stoppage': Fighters react to Derrick Lewis' TKO, celebration at UFC on ESPN 70

40-year-old Derrick Lewis proved he’s still a viable part of the heavyweight division Saturday when he turned back surging prospect Tallison Teixeira in the UFC on ESPN 70 main event.

Former title challenger Lewis (29-12 MMA, 20-10 UFC) became the 12th fighter in company history to earn 20 or more octagon victories with a 35-second TKO – albeit controversial in nature – over Teixeira (8-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) to extend his all-time knockout record at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
