2025 Arizona Cardinals training camp roster preview: CB Kei'Trel Clark

The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.

Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2024, questions they face and their roster outlook.

Next up is cornerback Kei’Trel Clark.

Kei’Trel Clark background, 2024 season

Clark arrived in Arizona as a sixth-round pick in 2023 from Louisville and became a starter at the beginning of the season. However, that didn’t last and while he has the ability to contribute on defense, he played mostly on special teams last season.

In 15 games with one start, Clark played 97 snaps on defense (10 percent) and 109 (28 percent) on special teams. In those limited defensive snaps, he had 11 tackles (six solo, one for loss) while having an interception, sack, pass defensed and quarterback hit. He had no stats on special teams.

Kei’Trel Clark 2025 contract details, cap hit

In the third year of his four-year rookie contract, Clark will have a base salary of $1.03 million this season with no guaranteed money and he counts $1.082 million against the salary cap.

2025 questions, roster outlook

With incoming rookies Will Johnson and Denzel Burke, and a strong returning cast, Clark will face a challenge making the 53-man roster. He could wind up being a candidate for the practice squad if he is waived and no other team picks him up.
