The Bard women’s soccer team has 18 anticipated returnees as the Raptors hope to make its first dent in the Liberty League in nearly a decade.
The Raptors open the 2025 season on Aug. 29 when Rutgers-Newark visits the Ferrari Soccer & Lacrosse Complex in Annandale-on-Hudson. Bard will take on a pair of 2024 postseason participants – the Raptors will host ECAC Div. III tourney semifinalist New Jersey City University on Aug. 31, and close the Liberty League season on Nov. 1 at NCAA Div. III tourney second-round team Ithaca.
Bard has not won a league contest since 2017, posting a 0-53-1 Liberty mark since then. Last season, the Raptors bowed to Vassar, Ithaca, Rochester Institute of Technology, RPI, Union, Clarkson, St. Lawrence, William Smith and Skidmore.
Bard will face three schools from the 2024 schedule in non-conference action, having beaten Brooklyn and bowing to William Paterson and Castleton.
Head coach Kate Hofstede will lead Bard for a fifth season in 2025.
