Ja'Marr Chase smashing donut in Joe Burrow's face wasn't on Bengals QB's 'bingo card'

As Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengalsfaced the Dallas Cowboys in December on “Monday Night Football,” a live, animated “Simpsons Funday Football” Bengals-Cowboys game took place in the world of “The Simpsons.”

The “Simpsons”-themed alt-cast, streamed live from Atoms Stadium in Springfield on Disney+ and ESPN+ during the NFL Week 14 game, featured Bart Simpson and the Bengals against Homer and the Cowboys. Burrow’s touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase during the first quarter was shown as Bart passing to Ralph Wiggum.

During the fifth episode of the second season of Netflix’s “Quarterback” docuseries, Burrow acknowledges that he never watched the “Simpsons” alt-cast but “heard it was pretty cool.”

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase gives donuts to fans after the Bengals beat the Dallas Cowboys.

Asked during the Netflix show whether he’s familiar with the theme song from “The Simpsons,” Burrow answers, “I’m familiar with it, yeah.”

Asked whether he can hum a few bars, Burrow answers, “No, I don’t know about that.”

Burrow is shown what he looks like as a Simpson.

“I like that,” Burrow adds, to a Netflix producer. “Looks good. I feel like I could use a chin maybe, but other than that. I like the hair, that’s for sure. … Maybe a little chin or something.”

“Simpsons”-themed donuts were handed to Chase on the field as the team celebrated a 27-20 win.

“Ja’Marr smashed a donut into my face (on the field after the game),” Burrow says after Bengals-Cowboys highlights are shown. “That wasn’t quite on my bingo card for today.”

Sadly, Burrow found out moments later that his home in Cincinnati was burglarized while the Bengals were winning in Dallas.
