Everson Pereira is already one of the New York Yankees’ top prospects.

But he certainly garnered himself a bit of extra notoriety with what he did on Saturday night for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Pereira hit for the cycle, and that wasn’t all. He actually went 5-for-6 with a single, a double, a triple and two home runs.

Call it a super cycle.

He already had the single, double and two bombs when he stepped to the plate in the eighth inning. And he crushed a fly ball to deep center. It was nearly out of the park, which would’ve created a remarkable line.

But the ball stayed in the park, deflected off a glove and gave Pereira time to end up with a triple.

Pereira now has an .870 OPS at Triple-A this season, with 15 homers in 56 games.

He’s ranked the No. 12 prospect in the Yankees’ system by MLB Pipeline. He’s got a chance to end up in the MLB outfield long-term.

And regardless of what happens, Pereira won’t soon forget the night he had Saturday for the Railriders.
