The Boston Celtics have reportedly agreed to sign former Philadelphia 76ers big man Kenneth Lofton Jr. to their 2025 NBA Las Vegas Summer League roster. What does the two way center offer the Celtics as a potential two way player or G League prospect for the Maine Celtics?
Not cut from the typical cloth of an NBA big, Lofton stands at just 6-foot-6, yet weighs in at a stout 275 lbs. with a body built like that of an NFL linebacker. He has yet to latch on at the NBA level, but has played in a two role for the Memphis Grizzlies, Sixers, and Utah Jazz in the recent past, and still hopes to find a way into the league. Should Boston consider adding him to their roster of two way prospects?
The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk it over. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say!
