Caitlin Clark's Priceless Reaction to Stephanie White Getting a Technical

Caitlin Clark’s Priceless Reaction to Stephanie White Getting a Technical originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

Coming into Thursday’s game, the Indiana Fever had lost their last 16 meetings against the Las Vegas Aces.

Many assumed that the streak of losses, which dates back to 2019, would continue due to the team’s circumstances. For Thursday’s bout, the Fever were without Caitlin Clark (groin) and Damiris Dantas (AmeriCup).

They were also a couple of days removed from winning the WNBA’s Commissioner Cup Championship against the Minnesota Lynx, which led to a rowdy party in the locker room.

Despite the odds being against them, the Fever blasted the Aces, winning by a score of 81-54. The Aces didn’t lead for a single second of the game, shooting just 26.2% as a team from the field and 18.8% from three-point range.

Even though the game was never in doubt, Fever head coach Stephanie White received a technical in the fourth quarter after she screamed at an official.

While the fact that this came while the Fever were up by around 20 points is hilarious in its own right, Caitlin Clark seemed to be as hyped as ever after the call.

Not only did Clark, who is notorious for going after officials, high-five White for getting a tech, but she also appeared to shout a profanity-laced message of encouragement.

Following the win, the Fever now sit at 9-8 on the year.

As for when the team will get Clark back, that is yet to be determined, as White made it clear in the build-up to Thursday’s game they were taking it slow with her.

The Fever return to action on Saturday, as they’ll be hosting the Los Angeles Sparks, the second of their five-game home stand.
