Another former Michigan State Spartans hooper will be playing in the NBA Summer League with the Orlando Magic.
Former Spartans big man Marcus Bingham Jr. will be playing with the Orlando Magic in the NBA Summer League next week. The Magic unveiled their summer league roster on Wednesday, with Bingham Jr. included on the list. He will play alongside other former Spartans Jase Richardson and Jaden Akins.
Bingham Jr. played at Michigan State from 2018 to 2022, where he appeared in 117 career games, including 53 starts. Since finishing up at Michigan State, Bingham Jr. briefly was with the Dallas Mavericks organization in 2022, and has since been playing in Israel the last three years.
The Orlando Magic will begin their four-game slate in the NBA Summer League next week against the Sacramento Kings on July 10. The Magic will play four games across seven days in Las Vegas, with playoffs to follow.
