Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young might have the skills and the look to pass as a pro hooper.

Young chatted with Bleacher Report earlier this offseason and was asked if he had a celebrity lookalike. Well, he does, and he also has a hilarious story to go along with it.

Okay, okay—the fan probably should’ve realized it was Young since his name and his picture seemed to be in plain sight. But, uh, can we really be that hard on the guy . . . ?

While Young may look like Poole, the sharp-shooting and slick-passing quarterback has previously compared his game (on the hardwood) to Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland. Others have even drawn a link between Young and noted Panthers fan Stephen Curry, Poole’s former teammate from Golden State.

Anyway, if Poole ever needs a night off, he might have someone he can call . . .
