LSU Gymnast Declares “I’m Not Done Yet” in Heartfelt Video originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
As the LSU Gymnastics season wrapped up, we thought we were saying goodbye to ten gymnasts, most of whom were members of the 2024 championship team. However, this week has delivered some wonderful surprises.
First, Alexis Jeffrey announced her return and now Tori Tatum committed to the Tigers for one more season.

Tatum said in a video, “Where to begin? First and foremost, I want to thank my family for everything. None of this would be possible without your love, sacrifice, and belief in me. You’ve been my rocks through every high and low, always lifting me up when I needed it most, and that means the world to me. To my teammates, thank you for being the sisters I’ve never had. You’ve brought so much joy, laughter, and love into my life and I am grateful for every moment that we shared. To my coaches, thank you for welcoming me from day one and for always seeing me as more than just an athlete. Your belief in me as a person means everything. And to Tiger Nation, you all are truly the best. Thanks you embracing a girl from Minnesota and for showing up with so much love and energy every single time. Above all, I want to thank my Lord and savior for blessing me with the opportunity to compete at such a high level and for turning my dreams into reality.”
Tatum ended the video by saying, “With that being said, I’m not done yet! I still feel like there’s more left for me to give. So, I’ll see you all next season.”
LSU Gymnastics returns to action in January, 2026.
