After a tough start to the season, the Chicago Sky snapped a four-game losing skid on Tuesday, with a 97-86 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks at Wintrust Arena.

Kamilla Cardoso poured in a game-high 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting, but it was Angel Reese’s all-around performance and post-game proclamation that stole the spotlight.

Reese, in her sophomore WNBA season, delivered one of her most complete stat lines yet.

In 32 minutes, she tallied 18 points, 17 rebounds, six assists and four steals, marking her third double-double in the last four games.

Her 17 rebounds paced the Sky and underscored her continued dominance on the boards, where she now leads the league with an average of 11.9 rebounds per game this season.

Following the win, Reese posted on X with the message, “DUBS IN THE CHATTTTT.”

Trailed by as many as 12 after the first quarter (29-17), the Sky chipped away steadily, pulling within five (42-37) to close the first half.

Chicago then outscored Los Angeles 25-21 in the third and unleashed a 30-17 barrage in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

The Sky shot 44.6% from the floor, while holding the Sparks to just 26.9% shooting from deep.

Defensively, Chicago forced 18 turnovers and secured 36 rebounds, including 12 on the offensive glass.

Chicago now sits 4-10 overall and 2-4 at home, still sitting in the lower half of the Eastern Conference standings.

The win over the Sparks, however, may serve as a turning point for both Reese and the Sky.
