Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium Ranking for EA Sports College Football 26 Revealed originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Auburn Tigers have not won more than six games since 2019, but Jordan-Hare Stadium still makes opposing teams uneasy.
The prestigious venue came in at No. 17 in the EA Sports College Football 26 toughest places to play rankings.
The toughest places to play rankings factor into how difficult it is for away teams to be able to call plays, audibles and even see routes the receivers are running in the game.
The feature was introduced in last year’s game, EA Sports College Football 25, ending a nearly 10-year hiatus in the video game franchise’s history.
Before last year, the previous edition in the series was NCAA Football 14 in 2013.
Auburn has never had a former player grace the cover in the video game series.
The standard edition of the game will have Alabama Crimson Tide star Ryan Williams and Ohio State Buckeyes wideout Jeremiah Smith. The deluxe edition features various athletes and fans of schools that are in the game.
Auburn got off to a decent start at home last season, going 2-1 in its first three games. The Tigers then dropped games to the Arkansas Razorbacks and Oklahoma Sooners at home.
The team lost the following home game to the Vanderbilt Commodores before recovering, winning its final two games of the 2024 season at Jordan-Hare Stadium over UL Monroe and the Texas A&M Aggies.
While the July 10 release of the game is exciting for Auburn fans, the Tigers’ recent recruiting endeavors have been anything but. Auburn lost the race for tight end Xavier Tiller to the Florida State Seminoles.
The team has also had longtime commits Devin Carter and Shadarius Toodle flip to different programs. Carter flipped from Auburn to Florida State and Toodle switched his commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs.
Auburn begins the 2025 season against the Baylor Bears on August 30.
