Four-star offensive line recruit Desmond Green is nearing his commitment. Green, a member of the class of 2026, plans to announce his commitment at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday, June 26.

The 6-foot-5, 355-pound interior offensive lineman has excellent size. Green plays high school football for Timberland High School in Saint Stephen, South Carolina. He will be announcing his decision at his high school.

The four-star is ranked as the No. 392 recruit in the nation. The Timberland star is the No. 9 recruit in South Carolina and the No. 33 interior offensive lineman in the country, per 247Sports.

Desmond Green has recently gone on official visits to Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia Tech and Oklahoma. Virginia Tech and Clemson are considered less likely to land Green’s commitment.

The elite offensive line prospect also plays high school basketball. Green is a decent athlete and is capable of reaching the second level to block linebackers and defensive backs. He has experience playing both center and left guard. He frequently erases opponents from the frame in his high school highlights, but may take a bit of time to adjust to the college game.
