The college baseball season enters Week 9. SEC play also enters a fifth week in 2025.
Tennessee (28-4, 9-3 SEC) is ranked No. 4 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll after losing its first series in 2025 to Texas A&M.
The Vols will return to action Tuesday against Alabama State. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. EDT at Lindsey Nelson Stadium (SEC Network+).
Tennessee will also face Ole Miss, Friday-Sunday, during the fifth week of SEC play. Friday’s series opener is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+) at Swayze Field in Oxford, Mississippi. Saturday’s game No. 2 will take place at 5 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+), while Sunday’s series finale between the Vols and Rebels is slated for 3 p.m. EDT (SEC Network).

Ahead of hosting Alabama State, the Vols have hit 77 home runs through 32 games. Tennessee ranks No. 2 nationally for home runs, 10 behind Georgia (87). Andrew Fischer and Gavin Kilen have hit 10-plus home runs for Tennessee in 2025.
