Dodgers Provide Injury Update on $136 Million Pitcher During Nationals Series originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have continued to battle pitching injuries since the beginning of the 2025 season, but that hasn’t stopped them from emerging as the top team in a highly competitive NL West division.
With injuries from top pitchers like Blake Snell, Roki Sasaki, and Tyler Glasnow, the Dodgers have been patient with their star pitchers.
Players are starting to get healthy again and return, but for those three, it’s been a long rehab process.
However, 31-year-old Tyler Glasnow has received promising news as he battles back from a right shoulder injury he sustained in late April.
The Dodgers announced that Glasnow will be pitching in Triple-A Oklahoma City as he begins a rehab assignment on Sunday.

Glasnow was pulled from his April 27 start against the Pittsburgh Pirates after pitching just one inning.
He was experiencing shoulder inflammation in his throwing arm, and the Dodgers initially placed him on the 15-day injured list.
As Glasnow rehabbed the injury, Los Angeles decided to take the patient route and would later place him on the 60-day injured list.
He hasn’t pitched since April, so his return is an encouraging sign for the Dodgers as they look to maintain their lead in the NL West.
Through the five starts Glasnow has played in this 2025 season, he has a 4.50 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and has struck out 23 batters in 18 innings pitched.
Tyler Glasnow doesn’t have a return timetable for the Dodgers, but he’s expected to come back sometime this season as Los Angeles looks to repeat as World Series champions.
