The 2025 FA Community Shield will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday August 10th.
Liverpool will take on Crystal Palace under the arch in the season’s traditional curtain-raiser at Wembley.
Arne Slot’s side secured their place in the contest after winning the Premier League last season, while Crystal Palace won their first-ever silverware with FA Cup success in 2024/25.
The Eagles will appear in the Community Shield for the first time, while Liverpool are seeking a 17th title. Only Manchester United (21) and Arsenal (17) have won the trophy on more occasions.

The FA have confirmed the fixture will take place on Sunday August 10th, six days before the new Premier League season. Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm BST and the fixture will be broadcast in the UK on TNT Sports.
