Kelsey Plum’s ‘Weird’ Interaction With Fan Is Turning Heads originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum has been putting on a show in her first season with the franchise.
After spending the last six years with the Las Vegas Aces, Plum made the move to Los Angeles during the offseason. She has not disappointed with her performance for the Sparks.
To this point in the 2025 WNBA season, Plum has played in 12 games. She has averaged 20.9 points per game to go along with 5.6 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.7 steals, while shooting 38.4% from the floor overall and knocking down 37.4% of her attempts from beyond the 3-point arc.
At 30 years old, Plum is still one of the best players in the league.
What makes Plum an even more likable player is her personality. She has a great sense of humor and treats her fans with a lot of love.
Recently, a video has come out that showed a “weird” exchange between Plum and a fan. As she walked to the team bus, she was asked for autographs.
Here is the video of the interaction that has been turning a lot of heads:

Fans immediately started commenting on the video. There was a very mixed response to the video, with some fans understanding where Plum was coming from and others not liking how she talked to the fan.
“And yet she signed them? Lol,” one fan wrote.
Another fan chimed in, “Gotta draw the line somewhere. It’s a game, not a meet & greet. Let the players breathe.”
“WNBA players truly dont know how to grow their sport,” a third comment read.
A fourth comment said, “WNBA players adjusting to having fans ever since Caitlin Clark came into the league.”
“Most athletes don’t like it when people be waiting outside of there hotel so i can’t trip,” another comment said.
Los Angeles and Plum will take on the Minnesota Lynx on the road in their next game on Saturday evening.
