Texas High School Rodeo Association stampedes into Abilene for state finals

The Texas High School Rodeo Association’s state finals continue through Saturday in Abilene.

Rodeo performances are held twice a day at the Taylor Telecom Arena at the Taylor County Expo Center.

Grand entry is held daily at 7:45 a.m. with rodeo performances commencing immediately after.

In preparation for the afternoon’s rodeo, Grand entry is held once more at 1:45 p.m. with competition starting at the conclusion of the ceremony. The association has been holding finals in Abilene for the last week.

Saturday’s performance will kick off at 9:45 a.m. with the top 15 rodeo competitors in each event facing off against each other.
