Charles Leclerc Tried to Train His Dog and It Went Totally Wrong

Even Charles Leclerc can’t win it all especially when it comes to training his dog.

In a now-viral clip from Formula 1’s Beyond the Grid podcast, the Ferrari star revealed his hilariously relatable struggle with his dog, Leo. While Leclerc has become known for his precision on track, life at home with a mischievous pup has been a different story entirely.

“At first, Leo was peeing everywhere in the house,” Leclerc admitted with a laugh. “And I’d say ‘no,’ and I’d put him on the pee pad. Now, he still pees everywhere… but when he does it, he sits on the pee pad and looks at me like, ‘See, I learned.’”

The story was originally shared during Leclerc’s appearance on the podcast back in 2022, but it continues to resurface among fans who can’t get enough of the Ferrari driver’s off-track charm, especially when it involves his beloved dog.

Leo, often seen alongside Leclerc has become something of a celebrity himself. But despite his fame, the pup apparently still refuses to play by the rules of house training.

While the Monegasque driver’s talent behind the wheel is unquestionable, this failed mission with Leo proves that even the most disciplined athletes have their blind spots.

Fans have long appreciated Leclerc’s openness about the joys and chaos of life outside the cockpit, and this anecdote only adds to the growing list of reasons why he’s one of the most beloved personalities on the grid.
