Ohio State Pushing to Land Highly Touted 6-Foot-3 Playmaker originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Ohio State Buckeyes clearly want to sign one four-star receiver in the 2027 recruiting class.
Highly touted wideout Monshun Sales had already been to Ohio State multiple times before this weekend. On3’s Mick Walker reported Friday that Sales was visiting Ohio State once again.
“Four-star wide receiver Monshun Sales out of Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence North will be one of two highly-ranked pass catchers at Ohio State this weekend. The Buckeyes offered the 6-foot-3, 180-pound Sales in May. He has already visited twice, for a spring practice in April and a game last season,” wrote Walker.
“Alabama, Michigan and others are standing out early for Sales but offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Brian Hartline will have the opportunity to make a move this weekend.”
The other highly touted pass-catcher visiting Columbus, Ohio this weekend is five-star tight end Brock Williams.
A top 20 recruit in the 2027 class, Williams is the No. 2 tight end on the 247 Sports composite rankings.
Sales posted a picture of himself along with a few other recruits who were at Ohio State this weekend.

Similar to Williams, Sales is one of the top prospects at his position in the 2027 recruiting class.
The 247 Sports composite rankings have Sales rated as the No. 2 receiver and top Indiana prospect in the 2027 class. Sales is also the No. 14 overall recruit.
The Buckeyes have already landed two commits for the 2027 class — five-star athlete Jamier Brown and four-star quarterback Brady Edmunds.
Both prospects are top 10 recruits at their positions.
