Notre Dame has a new addition to its bullpen.
Stanford reliever Ty Uber has committed to play for the Fighting Irish. The right-handed graduate transfer announced the move Saturday.
In 104.2 career innings, Uber is 6-3 with a 6.02 ERA. He has 98 strikeouts in 55 appearances.
The 6-foot-4, 249-pounder joins a Fighting Irish bullpen that also added Garrett Stratton, a right-handed reliever from Rice. These moves come after pitchers Ricky Reeth and Justin Mayes decided to seek greener pastures via the transfer portal.
Of course, no blow was bigger for Notre Dame baseball than losing its best player, catcher Carson Tinney, to the portal.
Blessed with the opportunity to continue my career at Notre Dame! ☘️☘️ pic.twitter.com/My3Oc4O2Od
