The Miami Dolphins are about to ramp up the final phase of their 2025 offseason when mandatory minicamp opens from Miami Gardens.
After three weeks of OTAs, Miami will conclude its offseason with the mandatory minicamp. When is the Dolphins’ mandatory minicamp and what all can Miami do during the minicamp per NFL rules?
When is the Miami Dolphins‘ mandatory minicamp?
Date: June 10-12
The Dolphins’ mandatory minicamp will take place from Tuesday, June 10 through Thursday, June 12. Technically, Miami’s minicamp starts on Monday, June 9 with physicals, but there’s no practice.
The mandatory minicamp is part of Phase 3 of the NFL offseason. During mandatory minicamp, teams can participate in 7 on 7, 9 on 7 and 11 on 11 drills provided no live contact takes place. Like in OTAs, players cannot wear pads except protective knee and elbow pads, though helmets are permitted.
Miami can hold two practices each day from Tuesday-Thursday, but the second practice is limited to walk through activities only. The Dolphins can have players at the facility for up to 10 hours per day with a max of 24 hours over the course of the three days.
