Longhorns offer talented offensive lineman Peyton Miller

The Texas Longhorns have been busy connecting with recruits in the 2027 class over the last few weeks. That continued on Sunday when they offered Texas native Peyton Miller. The talented offensive lineman is ranked as the 14th-best player at his position in his class. While the Longhorns have made their interest clear, they are not the only program pursuing Miller.

Their competition includes Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, and Duke, according to 247Sports. While the Longhorns have a few teams to beat out, they have gotten to know Miller personally during the recruiting process. Their offer came after he attended the Longhorns Elite Camp in Austin on Sunday.

Over the last two years, Miller has made headlines while playing for Anna High School. That is partly why he has been on the Longhorns radar. The next step will be to get him to campus for an official visit. Although Miller has a few options to consider, he was excited to receive an offer from the Longhorns.

Miller said in a post on his X account, “I’m excited to announce another Div. 1 football scholarship offer from Texas Football. He also thanked Steve Sarkisian and offensive coordinator Kyle Flood.

As the recruiting process continues, Miller will be a player to watch. He has the potential to be a very good player with plenty of room to grow. If Miller chooses Texas, he will join a program that has become one of the best in the country.

So far, the Longhorns 2027 class has only one commit. However, there is still plenty of talent on the board, and it is early in the process. The Longhorns hope that Miller’s recruitment ends with him in a Texas uniform.
