There is an ebb and flow with collegiate coaching, and for a successful program like Notre Dame, they constantly have to find young coaches to fill out its staff.
Head coach Marcus Freeman has done a masterful job filling those needs, and it looks like he’s done it once again with defensive analyst Jevaughn Codlin. Hired in February away from West Virginia, where he was a an assistant secondary coach.
On Wednesday, Codlin was named to Our Coaching Network’s 30 under 30, highlight the top rising coaches across the country. It’s a great honor to be named to that group, as many of them will move quickly through the coaching profession.
Codlin was already viewed as a rising star, but this designation just confirms what we all thought. He’s a huge asset to the Notre Dame program, and we all should be extremely happy that Freeman poached him away from the Mountaineers.
Thank you @OurCoachingNet for the recognition and the opportunity to represent @NDFootball ! More work to be done! #KeepGoing 🙏🏾☘️ https://t.co/KMOg5lT16e
