On Wednesday, the news broke that the Pittsburgh Steelers were trading disgruntled wide receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys. The Steelers got a third-round pick in 2026 and the two teams swapped picks in 2027. Even after trading for DK Metcalf and signing Robert Woods, this wide receiver group could use more help after the Pickens trade. Here are five guys still on the market who could help the Steelers.
Gabe Davis
Recently released by the Jaguars, Davis proved to be solid with the Buffalo Bills but didn’t mesh with what the Jaguars were doing and ended up being a cost-cutting measure.
DJ Chark
Chark is another receiver who flashed starting wide receiver skills but hasn’t found himself in the right fit with the talent around him after being a former second-round pick.
Tyler Boyd
The Steelers know Boyd well after his time with the Bengals and as local guy would be welcomed by the team.
Amari Cooper
Cooper’s asking price is probably a little higher than the first three but the longer he sits on the market the more affordable he becomes. Cooper is a bit past his prime but still very talented.
Keenan Allen
Another solid veteran like Cooper, who is a little older and might cost a bit more. Allen had 70 receptions in 2024 and is still playing great football.
