The Georgia Bulldogs will have a very new look for the 2025 college football season. Georgia had 13 players selected in the 2025 NFL draft (second-most of any program) and lost several key players to the transfer portal including starting quarterback Carson Beck.
Despite Georgia’s roster turnover, the Dawgs and head coach Kirby Smart still enter the fall with one of the most talented teams in the country. Georgia’s projected starting quarterback, Gunner Stockton, will have no shortage of talent around him as he tries to navigate Georgia back to the College Football Playoff.
Georgia’s top returning players are expected to take on larger roles in 2025. In fact, six Bulldogs have made Athlon’s 2025 preseason All-America team. Georgia has the fifth-most preseason All-Americans behind Clemson, Texas, Alabama and Penn State.
