4-star QB Bryson Beaver announces commitment to Oregon Ducks

The Oregon Ducks have their quarterback in the class of 2026.

On Wednesday, 4-star QB Bryson Beaver officially announced that he would be joining the Ducks this cycle, a commitment that comes less than a month after his decommitment from the Boise State Broncos.

Beaver is a fast-rising prospect who has seen his recruitment blow up over the last month. Since receiving an offer from Oregon on June 11, Beaver has watched as several other offers poured in from the likes of Alabama, Ole Miss, Colorado, LSU, and Auburn. He has also taken a handful of visits to SEC country, turned heads at the Elite 11 Finals, and ended up in Eugene for an official visit as well.

Now his recruitment comes full circle with a commitment to the Ducks, taking over as their lone QB in the 2026 class.

Beaver received a recruiting bump this week on 247Sports, jumping up from the No. 71-ranked QB in the class to No. 17, while also moving from a 3-star player to a 4-star.

The Ducks were originally after players like 5-star QB Jared Curtis and 5-star QB Ryder Lyons. Still, they’ve done a great job of pivoting and identifying a fast-rising prospect midway through the cycle and getting him as a member of the program.
