2025 Arizona Cardinals training camp roster preview: OL Jake Curhan

The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.

Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2024, questions they face and their roster outlook.

Next up is offensive lineman Jake Curhan.

Jake Curhan background, 2024 season

Curhan enters his fifth NFL season and first with the Cardinals.

He entered the league as a rookie free agent out of Cal, signing with the Seattle Seahawks. While with Seattle for three seasons, he played 17 games, starting nine at right tackle and left guard. In 2024 with the Chicago Bears, he appeared in 10 games, starting two at guard. He played 261 total snaps last season, 239 at left guard.

Jake Curhan 2025 contract details, cap hit

Curhan signed a one-year league-minimum deal this offseason. He is scheduled to make $1.17 million in salary with no guarantees. His contract is a qualifying veteran deal, so his cap hit will only be $1.06 million.

Questions he faces, roster outlook

Curhan, while experienced, is a player on the bubble. He will be competing for a reserve spot. His ability to play both tackle and guard will help him, but the Cardinals already have Kelvin Beachum as the primary backup swing tackle and they drafted Christian Jones last year.
