The Pittsburgh Steelers’ preseason opener has finally arrived — but as per norm, several starters and high-level players will be withheld from participating in Saturday’s contest vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Surprisingly enough, HC Mike Tomlin confirmed both of the Steelers’ punters — Cameron Johnston and Corliss Waitman — will play vs. the Jaguars, a clear sign of a brewing positional battle for fans to keep an eye on.

Fans can watch the preseason action unfold on August 9 at 7:00 PM EST, when the Pittsburgh Steelers travel on the road to face the Jacksonville Jaguars — a first glimpse at what’s in store this season, with plenty of exciting storylines to pay close attention to.
